I always wanted to work on a film since I saw "The Making of Star Wars" when I was a little girl. I had the privilage to work on the amazing film A Bug's Life, and yet, when it was over, I couldn't help but feel the journey was over and I had nothing more to reach for...
So, months ago, I tentitively asked The Universe to show me what my next path was to be. Tentitively, because answers to questions like that are rarely what you expect, nor are what you feel ready for, but in the end are almost always what you need most.
Pixar was not able to place me after Lighting on
Toy Story 2 wrapped. Pixar had a very large crew for TS2, and they were
not be able to keep everyone.
And so I was let go.
I firmly believe this is The Universe's answer...
Difficult, but ultimately exactly what I need.
Now, like Kiki herself, I must see if I still have Real Magic inside me...
I must learn to fly on my own!
